Gaia Goods Trading Co.
Since 2001, Gaia Goods Trading Co. has served its customers through the import, manufacturing, and distribution of personal and home accessories. Our goal is to provide the American consumer with an affordable window to other countries – bringing the beauty and uniqueness of international products to the mainstream marketplace. We select with an eye for foreign products that will appeal to the American taste yet retain the quality and essence of the original craftsmanship. Many of our products are largely hand-crafted and benefit both the artisans, and the communities in which they live and work. Others also benefit the environment through use of materials that are made from recycled wood or plastic. We are focused on underdeveloped, third-world countries and emerging markets, assisting and facilitating the growth and development of small business, and further enabling them to participate in the U.S. market. We provide products that come as directly as possible from the artisans or manufacturers, and adamantly focus on craftsmen who are conscientious about labor and believe in enabling others to learn and grow in their craft.
